WIDSURFING… KAYAKING… SAILING… KNEEBOARDING… WATERSKIING… AND SOME THINGS THAT DON’T INVOLVE GETTING WET!

Stay at Lendrick Muir and enjoy windsurfing, kayaking and sailing at nearby Lochore Meadows. Loads of Lendrick Muir activities, a chance to tackle issues of faith facing young people today, as well as time to relax with friends.

"This is the fourth year the Watersports Holiday has been held at Lendrick Muir and each year it gets better. There is a high number of returning campers and it feels like a family gathering. Everyone is very excited when a new face is added to the family. The watersports take place a short drive away, at Loch Ore Meadows Country Park. Here there is sailing, wind surfing, canoeing and kayaking. The news that the team had started knee-boarding again was met with an enthusiastic response. They have also added water-skiing which takes place at Lochearnhead. This year there was the treat of banana boats and rings that were dragged behind the boats. I have to say that I think some of us deafened the instructors with squealing when we hit the chilly water. There is a great supportive team who are willing to talk about the Bible and to guide us in our lives. We can also share any problems we have.

"Finally, I really believe the cooks do an amazing job. There is always lots of good, hot food to eat and they are very willing to accommodate the sandwich orders for lunch - they make lunch for everyone in the morning, so we can run around trying to find our wet suits!"
