North Highland Primary Weekend - WNAV3
The North Highland Primary weekend is for children in Primary 5-7. It will be filled with exciting activities like archery, ropes course, challenges and quizzes. There will also be opportunities to explore the Bible to look at some of the adventures Jesus and his friends had as they travelled across lakes, up mountains, through the countryside and went into towns.. The event is led by Colin Carmichael, the SU Regional Worker for North Highlands, Western Isles & Orkney along with a team of accredited SU Scotland volunteers.
Our base for the weekend is Alltnacriche, SU Scotland's centre near Aviemore that has comfortable dorms, plenty outdoors space and a sports hall and games gallery with air hockey, pool and table football.

This is a place like no other. Beautiful hillside location. Near Aviemore in the amazing Scottish highlands.
It’s stunning! The centre has an idyllic setting with loads of space for outdoor games, an exciting adventure ropes course, and an aerial runway. The centre is also in the perfect place for exploring a brilliant part of Scotland. With the sandy beach of Loch Morlich nearby, what more could you want!
Everything you need for a fabulous holiday! There are comfortable dorms with bunk beds, a lounge with a log fire and plenty of space for eating, relaxing and spending time together.
Alltnacriche is at Lynwilg, very close to Aviemore and just off the A9. It’s close to Loch Morlich and the Cairngorms, in fact it’s actually inside the Cairngorms National Park. There are loads of visitor attractions nearby and it’s a fantastic area for outdoor activities. Hard to imagine a better place for a holiday.
