On the Austrian Snowsports Holiday we have two main aims: to get closer to God, and to live life to the full. We also happen to believe that you achieve the second of these by doing the first.
This year we depart on Saturday 31 March 2018 and return on Monday 9 April 2018. Travel is by luxury coach from Glasgow via Eurotunnel on the way there, and overnight ferry on the way back.
The cost of the snowsports trip includes travel from Glasgow or Southwaite services, half board accommodation, 5 day ski pass, ski hire, ski instruction and insurance. Instruction at all levels from qualified ski and snowboard leaders on the team.
Campers will need money for the following items (not included in the cost):
- food during travel (although they may like to take a packed lunch for the outward journey)
- buying snacks/drinks from the tuck shop on the bus
- buying snacks/drinks from the cafe at our accommodation in Austria
- buying lunch on the slopes
- purchases made on our excursion (evening trip to an Austrian town)
Your team leader for this holiday is Stephen Jones.

What can you do here?
Our accommodation is again at the Schloss Heroldeck, a majestic castle in the heart of the Austrian Alps, surrounded by awesome ski country. Our main resort will either be Bad Kleinkirchheim or the glacier skiing of Flattach, which offers good snow all year round.
Schloss Heroldeck is a small chateau style castle built around 1912. Simply equipped, it enjoys a fantastic location on a southfacing forested hillside with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Accommodation includes a meeting room, and a comfortable lounge with open fire.
Plenty of snow! Just bring yourself – we’ll provide ski hire, instruction, 5 day ski pass, accommodation, and insurance.
Schloss Heroldeck is situated on wooded northern slopes overlooking the Millstatter See, just east of the village Millstatt, Austria.
