21 - 28 Jul, Glencoe , S1 - S6, £369.00
Accompanied travel: Glasgow (£32)

GC4a is certainly not for the tame! Packed full of activities tailored to you, GC4a provides specialist instruction on water sports.

With Royal Yachting Association qualifications up for grabs in various sailing dinghies or Scottish Canoe Association qualifications to gain in kayaks and canoes, you'll learn lifelong skills whilst having great fun.

There’s also more water to enjoy at Glencoe Outdoor Centre’s canyon though you’d hope that the rock climbing and optional hillwalking would be drier.

There’s no day out at the shops on this holiday; our off-site day is an expedition shaped by the tides on Loch Leven.

Spending the week in such a beautiful place with like-minded people is a fantastic way to spend your SU Holiday. We'll see you there!

Your team leader for this holiday is David Meikle.

What's the location like?

Don't expect a day in town or at the shops - there's far too much on offer at Glencoe to give in to such tame distractions!

What's outside?

Set amongst the spectacular loch and mountain scenery of Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, the centre is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surrounded by fabulous terrain for adventure activities on the doorstep, there's a broad range of outdoor pursuits on both land and water available.

What's inside?

The Glencoe Outdoor Centre is based in a small converted country house, offering accommodation for up to 35 in comfortable bunk-bedded rooms. Built over 100 years ago the house has retained much of its character, which helps to maintain the atmosphere of an extended family home.

There's a log fire, a games room, a comfortable lounge and a large drying room, and that's just for starters.

Where is it?

Right next to Loch Leven, in the village of Glencoe.
