Drama, CentreStage
09 - 13 Apr, Scoughall , P5 - S1, £124.00
Accompanied travel: Edinburgh, Glasgow

CentreStage is a taster event for younger performers. If you are in P5-S1 and you enjoy drama then this is the event for you! CentreStage offers a jam-packed five days of fun at Scoughall, a beautiful campsite with its own private beach in East Lothian. At Easter-time you’ll be sleeping in comfortable dorms and there is plenty of time to chill out and make lots of new friends as you work together on a show.

As well as the listed on-site activities, the holiday includes workshops, drama games and rehearsals. We work towards a performance for family and friends on the final day of camp, showing them what you’ve learned during the week.

You don’t need to have done lots of drama before, but you do need to be enthusiastic and willing to try new things. Every year new people come to CentreStage, some with friends and others on their own, and we make sure everyone feels welcome. After five days you’ll feel like you’ve known each other for years!

CentreStage is led by Fiona Stewart who works with Foolproof Creative Arts, and the team is made up of a mixture of students, former drama campers and other performers, so there are plenty of people on hand to help you learn. All of the leaders at CentreStage are Christians and enjoy using their gifts to tell people about God. In the evenings we meet together to explore the Bible, listen to God and find out more about Jesus.

We hope you are able to come to CentreStage this year!

Your team leader for this holiday is Fiona Stewart.

What's the location like?

Fabulous activities… sunny east coast… campfires on the beach… fun… outdoors.

What's Outside?

For starters there is an absolutely massive beach. The campsite is very close to the sea, so there are bucket-loads of things to do on the beach.

What’s inside?

A games room and meeting room are inside, along with some sleeping accommodation, the dining room, kitchen, toilets and showers. So this really is camping with the best of both worlds. Enjoy the outdoor life, the sand dunes, the beach, the wide open space, then relax indoors for meals and evening meeting times. And even if it is wet, there is still plenty to do inside!

Where is it?

One of Scotland’s sunniest spots. Scoughall (pronounced “skole”) is in East Lothian, not far from North Berwick.
