The NES Primary Weekend is a long Weekend away from Friday May 3rd to Monday May 6th for P5-P7 pupils. The venue for this Weekend is SU Scotland Activities Centre in Alltnacriche, near Aviemore. Right in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Alltnacriche offers a wonderful place to stay, enjoy the outdoors, have fun and explore the Christian faith. The Centre’s sports building has a games gallery with pool table, table tennis, air hockey and a wide range of resources.

This Weekend will be led by the Regional Worker for North East & Shetland, Cheri Young and supported by a team of accredited SU volunteers. It will be filled with exciting activities like archery, ropes courses, biking, bush crafts and sports. We will also be looking at Jesus' story from your own new copy of "Dear Theo"

Transport is provided from pick up points in Stonehaven, Aberdeen and Inverurie. Please indicate your choice when booking.

What's the location like?

This is a place like no other. Beautiful hillside location. Near Aviemore in the amazing Scottish highlands.

What's Outside?

It’s stunning! The centre has an idyllic setting with loads of space for outdoor games, an exciting adventure ropes course, and a zip line. The centre is also in the perfect place for exploring a brilliant part of Scotland. With the sandy beach of Loch Morlich nearby, what more could you want!

What’s inside?

Everything you need for a fabulous holiday! There are comfortable dorms with bunk beds, a lounge with a log fire and plenty of space for eating, relaxing and spending time together.

Where is it?

Alltnacriche is at Lynwilg, very close to Aviemore and just off the A9. It’s close to Loch Morlich and the Cairngorms, in fact it’s actually inside the Cairngorms National Park. There are loads of visitor attractions nearby and it’s a fantastic area for outdoor activities. Hard to imagine a better place for a holiday.
