Outdoor Adventure
20 - 27 Jul, Glencoe , S1 - S6, £369.00
Accompanied travel: Glasgow (£32)

Adventure Week at GC4b really lives up to its name!  After a couple of days learning vital bike skills and riding on some amazing trails, you'll embark on an overnight expedition - cycling through one of Scotland's iconic mountain ranges and sleeping overnight in a bothy.  After this, there's the amazing canyon to descend and as if that's not enough, there's plenty of opportunity to try your hand at paddle sports (kayaking and canoeing) as well as sailing!

If you love the outdoors and are up for the challenge of some genuinely adventurous activities, then this is the holiday for you! The evenings will be spent in the comfort of the Glencoe Outdoor Centre, set in the worldwide famous Glencoe, at the foot of some stunning mountains and overlooking beautiful lochs.  This holiday teams up with the SU Watersports Holiday (GC4a) to relax with after a busy day, eat together and have loads of fun! Spending the week in such a beautiful place with like-minded people is definitively a fantastic way to spend your SU Holiday. We'll see you there!

Your team leader for this holiday is David Meikle.

Set amongst the spectacular loch and mountain scenery of Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, the centre is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surrounded by fabulous terrain for adventure activities on the doorstep, there's a broad range of outdoor pursuits on both land and water available.

What's inside?

The Glencoe Outdoor Centre is based in a small converted country house, offering accommodation for up to 35 in comfortable bunk-bedded rooms. Built over 100 years ago the house has retained much of its character, which helps to maintain the atmosphere of an extended family home.

There's a log fire, a games room, a comfortable lounge and a large drying room, and that's just for starters.

Where is it?

Right next to Loch Leven, in the village of Glencoe.
