So what makes LM4a special? It’s hard to say, but we think it’s the great mix of people and activities – as much fun as we can squeeze into a week at a fantastic centre in a beautiful location. There’s time every evening to explore the Christian faith through music, drama and a variety of media, with opportunities for everyone to get involved.
Creative arts and media feature during the week, as well as wide games, a fundraising café, and a trip to St Andrews with time on the beach and a trip to the shops – you’ll find all of these things crammed into our busy programme. Indoor games, crafts and baking are on offer too, so it really is a case of being active and busy outside or choosing from some more relaxed options inside. Yes, we pack a lot into the day! You’ll be able to sign up for a whole range of outdoor activities too. Bungee trampolining, raft building and go karting are some of the popular choices from recent years.
There's always a theme too, which underpins everything, including a number of exciting activities which are linked to it. Add to this some healthy competition between teams and we can promise it will be a memorable week!
This is a big camp, with lots of group leaders and helpers. Regulars and new campers from near and far are warmly welcome to join us on the LM4a adventure in summer 2019.

Lendrick Muir is big, comfy, and easy to get to from all over the country. You can enjoy fast, furious outdoor stuff or chill with friends. Not to mention the acres and acres of outdoor space!
With 120 acres of grounds around the house, there is no shortage of space to enjoy the fantastic outdoor activities.
Lendrick Muir is an old country house that has been converted and extended to provide great accommodation for SU Holidays. You’ll sleep in dorms that range in size from 3 to 8 beds, depending on which area of the house you are in. The centre is organised into different units, so several events can be happening here at any one time. Larger holidays will use the whole centre, which can sleep up to 150 people - that's around 110 campers and 40 team. These large events are organised into smaller units, often with different age groups in each unit. There’s an enormous games hall for indoor sport (and inflatables!) as well as recreation areas with table tennis and pool tables, and plenty of space to relax and spend time with friends.
Lendrick Muir is near Kinross, with a beautiful setting in the Ochil hills. It’s right in the heart of Scotland, so it’s easy to get there. Glasgow and Edinburgh are both under an hour’s drive. The Borders, Dumfries and Aberdeen are all within 2 hours.
