Come along to this event at the start of the summer. The adventure begins when you leave Glasgow to travel east to the beautiful campsite in Arran. The campsite has a brilliant location really close to the sea. KX1 is all about you having a fantastic holiday with lots of choice.
Your accommodation for the week is in a tent so you get the adventure of sleeping under canvas with proper showers, dining room and meeting room.
There will be something for everyone to get excited about. As well as offering archery and swimming, we will be offering lots of other activities like Abseiling and Gorge walking. However if these activities are not your thing there will also be opportunities to take part in games, crafts and relaxing together. We will also be offering the chance to play football and make your own short film.
You’ll be part of a small group that you can get to know quickly, but our aim is also that everyone feels part of one big family. There are opportunities to explore the Bible and reflect on what it has to say in daily interactive sessions.
The food throughout the week is great with lots of choice and fabulous home cooked meals. Weather permitting we usually have a bonfire on the beach where we toast marshmallows and sing songs together. On the last evening we have a celebration meal and party.
We aim to create an event that is fun, relaxed and engaging, with a variety of activities so that there is hopefully something that everyone will enjoy.
