Ardnamurchan & West Highland Weekend - WNHI9a

05 - 07 Sep, Glencoe , S1 - S6, £102.00
Accompanied travel: Strontian

We are delighted to be holding another Ardnamurchan and West Highlands weekend residential at the Glencoe Outdoor Centre.

It’s particularly for S1-S6 pupils living in and around the Lochaber region, but why not book with a friend or relative from elsewhere.

This is an SU Scotland event in collaboration with the awesome team of professional instructors and other staff at the Glencoe Outdoor Centre. This promises to be an exciting weekend of opportunities from archery, biking, canoeing and team building challenges, whilst exploring the Bible amidst the dramatic landscape and environment of Glencoe.

There is SU Scotland travel from Ardnamurchan HS. The Glencoe Centre is an easy commute from the wider Lochaber and surrounding region.

Places are limited (16), so be sure to book your place quickly to avoid disappointment.

What's the location like?

Don't expect a day in town or at the shops - there's far too much on offer at Glencoe to give in to such tame distractions!

What's outside?

Set amongst the spectacular loch and mountain scenery of Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, the centre is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Surrounded by fabulous terrain for adventure activities on the doorstep, there's a broad range of outdoor pursuits on both land and water available.

What's inside?

The Glencoe Outdoor Centre is based in a small converted country house, offering accommodation for up to 35 in comfortable bunk-bedded rooms. Built over 100 years ago the house has retained much of its character, which helps to maintain the atmosphere of an extended family home.

There's a log fire, a games room, a comfortable lounge and a large drying room, and that's just for starters.

Where is it?

Right next to Loch Leven, in the village of Glencoe.
