This Independent Schools Weekend is for young people in P5-S3. It's filled with exciting activities and opportunities to explore the Bible. The event is led by Jenny Thomson (Independent Schools Worker East) and Lyndsey Cole (Independent Schools Worker – West), along with a team of accredited SU Scotland volunteers from around Scotland, including SU Group leaders.  

The weekend takes place at Lendrick Muir which is the perfect place in the countryside to spend a few days away. Inside there are comfortable dorms, a large games hall and space to relax. On site, there are lots of activities to choose from to make this a fantastic weekend.  

The weekend is a chance to have fun doing activities together and explore the Bible, with plenty of time to catch up with friends and make new ones. We’love you to join us!

Activities include: Disc Golf, Archery, Crafts, Challenge Course, King Swing, Games and Board games. 

 

There is no organised travel to this weekend.

What's the location like?

This large stone country house is filled with dorms, cozy seating areas and a spacious sports hall – the perfect setting for exploration, connection, and unforgettable memories to be made. Recharge in one of the spacious dining halls, where stories of your day are shared and laughter grows over warming, home-cooked meals.

What's outside?

Surrounded by 120 acres with high energy outdoor activities, Lendrick Muir invites you to ‘join the adventure!’ From a large sandpit, ready for friendly competition in a game of volleyball or Nukemball, to the giant King Swing that launches you into moments of weightless freedom, there is something for everyone to enjoy. You belong here!

Where is it?

Anchored in a sea of 120 acres of greenery, not far from Kinross, Stirling, Perth, Edinburgh and Glasgow, SU Scotland’s Centre Lendrick Muir can be found.
