CANOE - CANOE

Calling all adventurers! This summer join a challenge that takes you down Scotland’s River Spey, one of its fastest-flowing rivers. Get ready for a week of genuine adventure, skill development, and unforgettable memories.

What You'll Do

You'll spend your days paddling a canoe with a partner, learning to work as a team while enjoying the Highland scenery. Each evening, we set up camp in a different riverside location.

• Hands-on Skills: Learn to paddle a canoe, set up camp and help cook our meals over an open fire.   
• Active Fun: Paddling, wild swimming, fun-filled games, and creative crafts.
• Community: We keep our group small, creating a supportive environment for sharing stories, connecting with new friends, and growing together.
• Unique Evenings: Enjoy the long summer evenings as we gather around the campfire for reflection and discussion, exploring relevant topics from the Bible.  

No experience is needed. We provide all the necessary canoeing and camping gear. All you need to bring is a willingness to try new things and a positive attitude.

Safety & Back-Up Plans

• Weather: In the event of very bad weather, we have access to basic indoor accommodation to ensure everyone stays safe and warm.
• River: If river conditions make canoeing impossible, we switch to equally exciting activities like trail biking, hill walking, gorge walking, archery, or abseiling.

Wilderness Logistics

• Hygiene: This is a wilderness experience. Showers are not available during the trip.
• Toilets: Toilet facilities will vary: some nights we’ll have access to basic indoor toilets, and other nights we’ll use outdoor, dug toilets. Our experienced team will follow and teach best practices for outdoor hygiene to keep everyone comfortable.
