Blue Trail Biking - GC3MBB
If you are beginning to develop your skills, and enjoy the adrenaline rush of Mountain Biking, then you belong here!
If you have progressed beyond flat, wide and smooth trails and are ready to increase confidence with gentle climbs and descents, we have a team of qualified and experienced team here to support you. By the end of the week, you will be thrilled as the mud sprays from your wheels and as your speed and agility around the twists and turns before you has increased!
We’ll focus our time on Blue Graded trails near to Glencoe. Blue Graded trails are described as “Moderate” on the Route Card for Laggan Wolftrax (one of the centres we’ll visit) where you can expect “a mixture of climbs and descents with moderate gradients, technical features like tree roots and rock steps; jumps and berms, rollable features at controlled speed and variable surfaces.”
Our instructors will move participants between Blue Trails and Red Trails for both safety and skill progression.. We’d hope to move your skills and confidence along to take in some more “difficult” Red Trails at the end of the week.
After an action-packed day on the trails, we will head back to our accommodation at the Glencoe Outdoor Centre, to use the drying room, showers and most importantly rebuild our energy to do it all again tomorrow. We will be sharing the centre with the campers of, GC3MBR and the Watersports Holiday, building memories, growing friendships, and having fun together. We will also spend or times exploring the Bible together, offering great opportunity for questions and discussions that have an impact on our lives today.
As you push your boundaries, chase adrenaline and explore views that only your wheels and determination can take you too, you will have lots of fun and make great memories. Are you ready to join the adventure?
*All equipment hire is included in the cost of the holiday.
Your team leader for this holiday is Karen Campbell.
