The team are ready to deliver a fantastic holiday at GB1. Many of the team have been campers with us in the past and so they know what works and how to make it a week full of adventure. Some of the best activities include Tubing, taking private hire of Loudon Swimming Pool, visiting the Scottish Assault Course, a day trip to Heads of Ayr and creating amazing crafts. We're excited to see Stand up paddleboarding added to the list of activities for 2026!

Alongside all these amazing activities, we also discover amazing stories about Jesus. Come and join us - you'd be daft to miss it!

What's the location like?

With a range of exciting outdoor activities, there’s something for everyone — from peaceful nature walks to high-energy challenges like Crate Building, a team-based activity where you stack crates beneath your feet to climb as high as possible… until they tumble, or, with a burst of courage, you leap into the air. Why not end the day gathered around the flickering bonfire glow, roasting gooey marshmallows and lifting your voice in spontaneous song?

Gowanbank is a beautiful old house with spectacular views out across the Irvine valley and lots of great areas to hang out with friends and relax. From friendly competitions in the games room to quiet moments of reflection in the bright meeting room, whether you’re seeking excitement or a peaceful retreat, you belong here!
